"We took a midweek ferry and rented a car because it was $250 for standby rate with car. Budget Rental...$110/day..and friendly. We parked in Palmer lot..my wife used to live on the island so it was familiar. Service good points...ontime, clean, fairly convenient and orderly. Negatives...staff standing in passenger section for 30 minutes and HOLLERING into their speakerphone. Why can't they go somewhere else and use the regular ear/microphone? The nastiest and most unsafe issue was the female screaming bus driver that talked on her phone while driving ONE HANDED AT 50MPH WITH 40 PLUS PEOPLE ON THE BUS!!! It's illegal in Massachusetts but that CDL driver doesn't care...and thats criminal.She was rude and absolutely clueless on how to safely treat her entrusted paying passengers. It was the 615 boat from OB to WH. DANGEROUS AND UNNECESSARY."
"kind of confusing if youre not going to bring your viechle to Martha's Vineyard dont go to this location you have to go to 22 Technology Park Drive.(Thomas B. Landers parking) which is up like 10 miles highway 28."
"Rude elder man at the shuttle on 8/11 around 2pm… didn’t give any direction or couldn’t tell us when the shuttle would come. Watched us walk the wrong way and we missed the shuttle. Guess they easily get paid enough to not check the greeter"
"Haven't been on many ferries so can't compare but best experience so far. Tickets were easy to purchase. The ferry was easy to navigate inside. They have food & drinks for purchase and beautiful views heading to and from Martha's Vineyard. Our ferries were both on-time and was. It crowded but we went in mid-August."
"The ferry ride to Martha's Vineyard was one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and efficient. With seagulls flying alongside us, sail boats blowing in the crisp breeze, and a gorgeous sunset on the return, we really enjoyed this tranquil experience on the water!"
