"Lovely local movie venue! Limited showtimes but a great old space and always interesting choices being screened"
"Great asset to the community, with lots of different programs - movies, live performance, lectures, live, HD broadcasts from the Met, National Theatre, etc. I haven't enjoyed their choice of movies as much this year as I have in years past and I think this is a function of them having new leadership, but that's just my own personal taste in movies, too, which does not diminish their value to the community or their great, overall programming. If you're coming to the area, you'll definitely want to see what's on at the Lincoln!"
"So I wanna love this place because they show some of the most interesting films and documentaries. They are a truly local independent theater. The reason I don't love them is they have some of the most uncomfortable seats, and every time I goto the concession stand the person working there is so slow and really hasn't been trained well. If 20 people are waiting in line for popcorn it not helpful to make only enough for 5 people and then have to start the process all over again. Super frustrating. But I do love their movies. So try the place out for yourself."
"We were at the Pumpkin Fest in Damariscotta. The theater was warmer than the waterside for viewing the pumpkin boat regatta. The Fest was great and definitely worth going. I will be going next year."
"Great space! Upstairs holds a fantastic movie theater, entrance around back. They show all sorts of movies -- first-run, documentaries, free kids movies many weekends, local interest subjects, etc. They even host a free view of the town's Pumpkin Fest regatta in October... Classic movie experience with hometown flair. Excellent popcorn. I'd give it more than 2 thumbs up if I had 'em!"
