Walnut Street Coffee Cafe

"Tv volume was super loud, hard to hear when ordering. the prices are very high. paid 30$ for 2 coffees & 2 sandwiches. Got two sandwiches toasted one was burnt on one side and the other sandwich was not even warm. A 10$ sandwich for one piece of meat. Pizza shops offer 12$ club sandwiches that are real club sandwiches (three pieces of bread) and way more than a piece of meat, one tomato slice and a leaf of lettuce and a side of fries. Not sure how this pricing is decided. Coffee is super watery , wasn’t enjoyable. First time here the place is home-y but it’s super crowded and hard to walk around."

"The Walnut St. Café is a nut you do not want to crack. The rushed and rude customer service was even nuttier than the sub par spreads and bland bagels. We cracked once seeing a bathroom of soppy mops, dirty bucket water and a swarm of flies. With the exception of the one sweet coffee barista, this was a spoiled experience."

"I was recommended this place by a friend and was disappointed to see that the place needs a good cleaning, there is dust everywhere and it’s a bit disorganized. The coffee that I ordered was too milky and too sweet and the sandwich was incorrect and not appealing whatsoever."

"I really want to give this spot 5 stars, the coffees are awesome and they have so many choices for flavors. My main issue is the way you have to order at the front, it is very unorganized and causes nothing but confusion for anyone who isn’t familiar w the spot. It also looks like it’s run by a bunch of kids?? You’d need to renovate the entire building to ensure that they have enough space to take orders one side, get all the quick pastries, have space for coffee/drink making, and have space to cook in the back. The way they have to divide the place is very inconvenient for both customers and workers."
