"I normally don't leave reviews but I went with my brother to charge his moped battery around 6:30p on 10/31/23 that he bought from this autozone in Medford back in May 2023. As soon as we walked in, the worker Warner looked at him and said, we don't just give you a new one. we explained he was not here to exchange the battery but to charge it as it kept on dying. Warner then said to give him the phone number to look up the purchase, but my brother's phone number wasn't showing up on their system. My brother does have the receipt of purchase in his email though and this wasn't the first time he came to that branch to buy and charge batteries. Warner then went to the back and came with a new battery and said "this is the last time, I will give you a battery and you do not come back" as if we came in for free things. This was very disrespectful and insulting. My brother came to charge his moped battery, not to steal or get free battery. Everything he has, he paid for and have never expected handouts. We explained to Warner we will gladly pay for a new battery. After some back and forth of us trying to explain to Warner how appalled we were of his statement and we will pay for the new one, and he kept on insisting that we should not come back after he gifts us this "last battery." He then said "then fine you don't want to that's okay" and he left us at the register and proceeded to help someone else in another section. Another worker Billy witnessed the interaction and came to assist us. Billy was quite helpful and helped me to register my phone number and email with the branch and we bought the battery at 6:49pm on 10/31/23. For Billy, I would give 5 stars, but the entire interaction with Warner left me feeling embarrassed and appalled."
