Best Western Merry Manor Inn

"Husband and I travel nationwide. We were extremely tired and the weekend night shift, Saturday, were very welcoming. However... The day Crew were so rude! We had to get the handicap room due to my husband being unable to tolerate his pain etc. The fact we were up early, packed and ready for check out, we both fell back to sleep. The maid came barging in the room and immediately front desk told us how we had to "get along now"so they can clean the room. I was very apologetic and felt horrible yet these girls showed no compassion. Husband and I travel all over the country working, he's about to have surgery and well we're human!! Compassion is all that could've been expressed! The rooms need updated! Smells like an old nursing home! Breakfast was like going through the chow line in the barracks! Do better Best Western! SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI location is making you look like the budget inn!"

"I have stayed here previously and booked this hotel for one night specifically so that I could enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool and the hot tub with inside access during the cold weather season. To my great disappointment, structural changes have been made and now the pool is only accessible by going outside. One must go outside (into the cold rain, for me) to get to the pool rather than entering via the hot tub area and then swimming into the heated outdoor pool like I did previously. I still thought I'd give it a try by going outside into the cold rain early the following morning before traveling to try to get a few laps in and enjoy the hot tub, and was not able to because the access door to the pool was locked. So, I ended up spending more than I would like to have (significantly more than the last time I was there a couple of years ago) for a very basic and fairly outdated room, and wasn't able to use the pool like I had planned. Will stay elsewhere next time."

"Our family stayed at the BEST WESTERN during an unfortunate loss year's ago. We continue to visit when we are able. They made our stay comfortable & all needs were met! My daughter & I visited pool at night when it started to snow, that was awesome! Loved it. I made a reservation for 2024. Raina was professional, helpful & kind! Raina ensured the best price for our stay & we look forward to going!! Thank-you Raina!"

"The room and hotel were clean. The staff was nice. I didn't make it to the pool. The breakfast was better than I expected with lots of good choices. They have two coffee machines that make all special coffee drinks. Be prepared for the machine to make a half cup of the coffee, tho. There is a regular coffee machine too. Big plus, they averted welcoming all people! The location was good. Not far from anything. Downside, they were open to the fact they were renovating the property."

"First room carpet was COMPLETELY SOAKED (from what??). Moved to a room far from pool. When charged for 2nd night, she raised room price by $100!! Hello! We're senior citizens, not idiots! I was disgusted. Buffet hot/cold breakfast was pretty good but dining room was tiny. The pool was the saving grace. DON'T GO. I felt taken advantage of."
