"I booked a weekend at the Mount Royal & would definitely book future stays there! The location is incredible! Right near the beach & all the restaurants/bars, walking distance to everything. The room was nice, clean, & as pictured on their website. The staff were very nice, & manager was helpful & accommodating. The price was a good value. My favorite feature though was the spacious community lounge room, very unique to any motel I’ve been to! It had windows surrounding most of the room so it had great views (good place to enjoy your coffee or to mingle with other guests). I highly recommend this place! I’d gladly book again!"

"You won't feel super unsafe but the vibe nearby is weird. The neighborhood is super creepy and you feel like a ghost might pop up at random time. Service is fine: decently easy check in and check out. Rooms are terrible: my friend and I found hair and even blood on the bed sheet. The window in the restroom is covered just with toilet paper: which is what I have never seen before and is absolutely unacceptable. No soundproof at all: we can hear everything nearby, outside the room, and everything outside."

"Very small rooms but was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Parking is tight. Location is the great thing. Across the street from beach and amusement park. Short walk to center of town and shops. Wife and I agrea to try better place for the bigger and better rooms."

"The motel was good. It is in good location, walking distance to just about everything. The staff was helpful. One major problem is the connection to the television and not being able to get the service to work. We came with family and it made it hard because at night we couldn't play something for them. The swimming pool was hard for kids as well as it did not have a shallow end and it was five feet at the shortest end. However great for adults. Problem it does close at 10 pm. There was a lot of yelling and fighting at one point during our stay (which I loved and enjoyed to watch) however it did make it a little harder with little children - this has nothing to do with the staff or the hotel however - The amusement park is across the street and that was amazing for the children I would recommend this place, it was a nice place. The rooms were clean and i liked the lay out of the room. The connection to the internet and television was hard. Parking was really hard however and parking layout does not make sense either."

"First time visiting Old Orchard Beach. Staff was very friendly & helpful when asked for more towels or necessities. Parking poorly set up. We were assigned parking spots & the moment we stepped out, someone would park in our spot. Floors were very dirty & sandy. We understand that the beach is nearby but considering rooms are to be cleaned between each guest checks in, floors should better cleaned. The pool was very refreshing & fun to use but not cleaned before the next business day. Drawers broken on dresser, towel rack also broken & mattress very uncomfortable. Springs could be felt. Location was awesome!"
