Bittersweet Bed & Breakfast

"This was our first trip to Maine and we are so happy we chose to stay at Bittersweet! It is a beautiful home, perfectly manicured and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small but manageable. Ray and Victor were friendly and helpful, always willing to take time to chat with us and offer advice on day trips and restaurants, both of which are plentiful. And the fresh blueberry muffins that Victor prepares every morning are amazing!"

"We were greeted by Ray upon our arrival and given the lay of the land. He explained the beaches, some of the nearby sights and some of the local restaurants. Our room was very comfortable. (Especially the water fountain outside our window, very relaxing) Victor prepared breakfast in the morning (the blueberry muffins were as good as advertised)and we were on our way. Close to Nubble Lighthouse and a short drive to Ogunquit. We will definitely stay here when we return."

"Beautifully kept property, super clean, and comfort all in one. This was our first bed and breakfast experience and Victor made us feel so welcomed! He prepares a delicious breakfast every morning (his home made breakfast pastries are delicious!) and provided wonderful recommendations on where to go, what to do, and where to grab some food and drinks. My favorite thing to do was to sit outside on the beautiful porch. I look forward to returning! Thank you for everything Victor!"

"My wife and I stayed at Bittersweet July 29,2022 - July 31, 2022 and I have nothing but good things to say. We were warmly greeted by Victor and had a great conversation while meeting him. He showed us around explained all the amenities and off to our room we went. Cozy clean and perfect for what we needed, a quiet place to stay that was close to just about everything. We were able to eat right across the street and walk to the beach five minutes away it was exactly what we needed. Hand cooked to order breakfast in the morning was amazing and coffee a plenty. I can't say enough good things about Bittersweet if we are ever staying in York again we will 100% be back. Thank you!"

"Wow! What a great discovery! Warm welcome, exemplary cleanliness, room was pretty, spacious and comfortable, well appointed patio to have a drink and breakfast, quiet place where you sleep to the sound of the fountain. Close to restaurants and the beach. Thoughtfulness and little gestures +++ from our hosts (ice, wine glasses, fridge at our disposal). Everything was perfect !!!! We will be back !"
