The Inn at Soho Square 36 West Grand Avenue, Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064

"The location is great. 2 min from the pier and attractions across the street from the beach. However the Inn has not been updated in what seems like 20 years. They room was so dirty and all the furniture was falling apart. The owner was friendly at times but was very unorganized and and not very accommodating when we had to wait an hour to check in."

"Everything in the room is very old and dirty. They need to buy new mattresses. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but we left after 1, we couldn't sleep. Didn't get any refund but at this point we just wanted to go away"

"This place is in the best location but it is straight up gross. The carpet was wrinkled and felt wet, the shower was filthy and repaired using duct tape, I found a dead bug right by my bed, it was super dark because one lamp was missing a bulb and the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The bars outside the hotel and the other hotel patrons are very loud until ~2am and the rooms do not feel secure. I booked for 2 nights and left after 1."

"Desk clerk/manager reeked of Marijuana and was visibly stoned at checkin. Office hours not condusive to early risers, opens at 9am for coffee. There was a chain without flags or posted notice placed across the parking lot on our return in one evening. With the sun in my eyes, I drove into the chain and it damaged the front of my car.The management insisted that we were told, and that the chain is painted bright yellow, but I'm sure Mr. Stonehead didn't remember that he didn't tell us at all. Why would I deliberately drive my car into a chain that i knew was there, just so I could damage it?????He got angry and stormed away. Would not recommend staying here at all.Oh, and the mattresses we sosaggy and sunk in I almost needed help getting out"

"This place is gross. There are hairs on the bed and the sheets aren't clean. The shower is yellow and smells. There's a toothpaste cap stuck in the sink drain. The bathroom door doesn't lock. The floor is filthy and there's not enough lighting. Room is stuffy. The whole place is dingy and rundown, cracks in the furniture, etc. Don't go here unless you absolutely must."
