"Made a reservation using Priceline (after the busy summer season) and unfortunately had to cancel. I called the motel directly 8 or 9 days before the reservation time, with no call back. Called again 5 days before and didn't receive a call back until 4 days before, only to be told their cancellation policy was 7 days in advance. I explained how I called 4 or 5 days ago and no one called me back. Then the story changed to, I would need to call Priceline, who told me any cancellation must be done directly with the motel. I called them back and guess what? Still no returned call. The whole thing is a bit a sketchy if you ask me."

"Have been coming to "Exit 5" for years! It has a laid back style and retro feel. I always feel as if I have gone back to a simpler time. The rooms are basic motel accommodations, clean and comfortable. The innkeeper is delightful and always treats us like old friends when we arrive. The grounds are lovely. The pool, fire pit and outdoor grill are always a treat."

"DONT STAY HERE!!!!! DONT STAY HERE!!!!! BEWARE!!!!! BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!! This place is horrible, can’t check in till 3. Waited till 4 for someone to actually show up. Finally got a room, lifted the blanket. Bugs all over the beds. Website said $108/night. They charged $250/night on arrival. (False advertising). When the owner was called out on the false charge he claimed they had not changed their off season rates. Keep in mind ITS AUGUST. After calling him out, several customer also staying there realized they were false charged as well. He proceeded to get mad about this (needing to refund people money back). He proceeded to call the local police department to have us leave because of accusing him of scamming loyal customers. BEWARE!!!!! BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!"

"Our room smelt like ciggarettes right when we walked in even tho we had a NON smoking room, When we told the front desk they basicly told us that people dont listen to the rules. Felt sand under the sheet when trying to sleep. TV had very limited channels and did not even tell you what you were watching ( pretty much useless ) Smoke stains on the ceiling... Only good thing is that the wifi speed was pretty fast. Overall not a good expierence and I would not recommend."

"My daughter rent a 2 bedroom for us. The bathroom was nasty, stains on the door and could hardly close the door and the toilet paper had mold on both rolls that was there. And hot water didnt get really hot and didnt last long while taking a bath.The bedrooms well the mattress was hard as a rock and the light switches didn't work. Had to get on the bedroom to turn it on and off. Also there was still trash in the bedrooms. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for what they charged here. Plus they charged her a deposit of $200 to make sure no one smoked in the room but $240 was taken out her checking account. Unbelievable."
