"The pros: clean, modern yet rustic rooms, spacious with Roku tv. The family that runs it was very nice and even gave me some bottles of water when I inquired about the nearest store to buy water. There's a tiny mini fridge, microwave and Kuerig coffee maker in the room. The cons: The walls are PAPER THIN. I could hear literally EVERYTHING from the surrounding rooms. Every room has a door adjoining both rooms on either side, which might be nice if you're a large family traveling together, but this makes the paper thin walls even more problematic and easier to hear noise from other rooms. I could literally hear my neighbor's phone vibrating, the TV, any conversations being had, both in the next room or outside the door, that's how thin they are. The only window in the room has an AC unit which worked very well, but the window only had blinds and a sheer curtain, no blackout curtain. The blinds were set to a certain level which left about 3 inches opening between the AC and bottom blind so you could see into my room. There was no string to adjust the height, which was weird, considering the sheer curtain wasn't blocking the ability to see into my room. As a single woman traveling alone, I was forced to turn the lights off and use the TV as the only light source so no one would walk by and see me changing clothes. Also, this is a 2 story lodge that overlooks the parking lot and there are very bright lights outside each room, so without blackout curtains it appeared to be daylight outside while trying to sleep. If you're like me and need total darkness to sleep, this is problematic. Between the light and the noise from other rooms, I woke up every 45 minutes to an hour. The motel is right along a major roadway so you can clearly hear the traffic and trucks passing by at all hours. I would not recommend unless you can sleep thru anything."
