"Highly recommend, very affordable, close to all kinds of fun places and the beach. Room came equipped with a kitchenette (super convenient) also has a swimming pool! Will definitely be staying again in the future."
"We stayed in cabin 124. Place is huge. Has king. Queen twin a roll out cot. And 2 couches. The room is split in half with a half wall which makes feel like 2 rooms. Small kitchen with stove top. Microwave. Coffee pot toaster. Full size fridge. Which can help keep cost of trips down. Not needing to eat out every meal. Had all utensils needed to cook with. Plates bowels. . big bathroom with a small hot tub. Nice pool to swim in a swing set for the kids. Our cabin was very clean. The owners where so nice and very welcoming. Best part was the price. You couldn't get a room for 2 at one of the chain motels in the area for what you could take a large family here for. The TV. Was a brand new smart TV with full cable or you can sign into your own Netflix Hulu accounts. I'll definitely be going back here when we in this area from now on."
"I loved the beautiful cabin we stayed in. definitely coming back! ❤️ Also very nice staff and it’s only like a 10 minute drive from Old Orchard beach"
"The positive reviews of this place probably come from people who were living in a tent the the week before. When I stayed here I was harassed by the owners on a constant basis. They have old TV's in their rooms. Mine, if course, broke.. I bought a new TV at the local Walmart that had up to date HDMI jacks and when I checked out the owner accused my of stealing my own TV! Even after I went to the front desk to explain the TV in my room didn't work? Even after I asked what we should do with the old TV? Even after I asked where to throw away the box to the new TV? Even after I furnished a receipt?!? Super bad experience. Lowest of the low. There was an unfortunate situation where a person committed suicide in one of the rooms while we were staying there. Guests were renting that room a couple days later like no biggie. This was concerning because of the lack of cleaning there. Don't stay here. Even for free. Ask to look at the room BEFORE paying because there's NO REFUNDS, they will only switch you to another room, which is probably worse. Seriously, a night in a van, in a parking lot, with 3 children in the back, would be better than a stay here."
"If you want everything to be up-to-date and perfect, this is probably not the motel for you--but if you're flexible about details, this could be an excellent value. We stayed in a largish cabin, so some of the advantages of that (TONS of space, almost a full kitchen, and a jacuzzi tub!) probably don't apply to most rooms. Our room was pretty clean (we did see exactly one ant, and the jets in the jacuzzi tub needed to be rinsed out) and in pretty good shape. It looks like they're gradually renovating and improving over time. In our room, for example, the floor coverings looked quite nice, whereas a window high up was covered with black plastic rather than (say) a shade. There were definitely some modestly run-down aspects to the room, but mostly it was comfortable and pleasant and enjoyable. This is also one of the quietest rooms I've ever stayed in (I don't know if other cabins or rooms are less quiet), despite being on a busy highway. Service was very pleasant, but I only saw them for check-in and on one phone call to get the WiFi password (which they forgot to give us when I checked in). The TV is an old tube TV, so of course it had no HDMI port. All the kitchen stuff was working, but there were only a few dishes and pots and pans--not even a full-sized coffee mug. The price was great, so for our priorities (clean room, comfortable, quiet, affordable, and convenient), the Sunrise Motel nailed it."
