"Where to begin. I have no idea from whom or how this motel got rave reviews. We stayed in Room 16. When we arrived, our first clue should have been the heaving payment in the parking lot and no other cars. When we arrived at our room, it was freezing, damp and had an overwhelming and very unpleasant smell of disinfectant. We decided to go for dinner to let our room warm up. When we arrived back, I decided to take a shower. The faucet control got stuck on scalding hot water and it took my husband's full strength to budge it. When I finally got water to comfortable temperature, the lever for the shower control literally fell off. The provided complimentary shampoo came in packets half the size of a ketchup packet that you open with your teeth. The soap bar was about the size of a quarter. We can't believe that some reviews said the rooms were immaculate. Thinking the baseboards simply needed painting my husband said he thought it was dirt. After taking a cloth and checking, it was indeed black with dirt. This was a totally disagreeable visit and goes to prove the old adage "You get what you pay for.""

"This is a motel. My rate was excellent. The pool liked clean and well maintained. The room was large, well appointed and spotless. The office staff were efficient and friendly. I felt extremely safe here. There were dining choices nearby. I will stay here again."

"What warm and welcoming hosts!! The rooms are clean. The tables and grills next to the pool are a lovely touch. The pool is only 3½ feet deep, great to cool off. A number of guests spent their days by the pool. We spent a couple of afternoons there ourselves."
