"I am always impressed when owners are passionate and just simply CARE! That is definitely true about this place!! This place checks all the boxes when you're in the area visiting. Great location for all the beautiful excursions the area has to offer. I love keeping the windows open to hear the river. LOVE having a fire by the river. Very relaxing!"

"Wonderful place to stay! The owners really make this spot special and have put a lot of time and love into the business. We were offered local tips, games, toys, and more. The brook behind the cabins is clean and clear and an awesome place to swim and the we opened the window over the sink to hear a soft babbling. We grilled, had a fire, and read in the hammock. The rooms are clean, and there is a fan to keep the air circulating during the day. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. We made breakfast each morning and had a seafood boil one night. At night, we opened the side windows and were able to snuggle under our covers, even in July. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint and cozy place to relax."

"We were disappointed with this rental and left 2 nights early. The place really needs an uplift. The cottages and grounds are in disrepair. Cottage had a musty/moldy smell as well as the linens. There was an ant problem in the cottage and there were holes and other structural problems. The picnic table had layers of old tablecloths on it and smelled awful. Hammock was worn and stretched out. Decades-old pullout sofa had tape holding it together and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. The owners are very nice and welcoming but perhaps don’t have the financial means to keep up with it."

"Our family go their every year. The people are so nice. The cabins are always clean and comfortable. The kids love it. You can go right down the road to go swimming. I and my Son take the smallest as it's just us. But the whole family goes even my ex husband. lol. We look forward to going again for the third year this year."
