"Would stay again. Rooms dated but clean, very basic. There are 3 buildings... try to get a room with a # over 40 for nicer accommodations plus water views. Dock for fishing or your boat. We brought ours and it was awesome to travel to boothbay harbor and the neighboring islands by boat. Nearby bald eagle nest provided a pleasant surprise, as was the harbor seal."
"Very basic. Bring your cooler for the free ice. Be prepared to eat out, as has no cooking facilities. You can't beat the view, and the pool is great for kids. It is a great place to kick back and relax. If you can go without glamour and glitz, you will love it here. The staff here are very friendly and helpful."
"Quiet motel with stunning water views from the room's private deck. Clean rooms, very inexpensive probably because of the outdated decor but the rooms are still lovely. Excellent value for a relaxing beautiful visit."
"Four stars for value; rooms before July 1 are $39-$59. The cheap rooms were further from the ocean, in a long motel style building, and small. The more expensive were near the water - a beautiful view overlooking a very pretty bay. Yes, this is old; our room had moss green fixtures in the bathroom, but it was clean and comfortable. Free morning coffee wasn't so great; ask for directions to the southport general store; excellent there. PS. The Maine Botanical Gardens are just a 10 minute drive, and worth a couple of hours"
"I have been staying here every year in August for over 18 years. It is now the annual vacation destination for myself, family and friends! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are no frills but clean! The views and the price per night can't be beat!! I love, love, my time here every year!"
