"Charming, quaint stay in Booth Bay! Beautiful bed and breakfast with a view of the water. Just a few steps from the dock for swimming! Steve and Susan go above and beyond to give their guests a cozy and memorable stay. Susan cooked a delicious breakfast and Steve was kind, caring and attentive the whole way through. Lots of return guests from over the years, which is always a good sign! Highly recommend"
"What can I say about this place other than, what a find. Located a couple of miles away from the touristy, bustling Boothbay Harbor downtown, the location and extraordinary hospitality made our stay here worth every penny. The owners have literally accounted for every possible detail. Supreme cleanliness, amazing home-cooked, creative breakfasts, coffee and tea station, fresh cookies every afternoon, ports cookies & chocloates later in the evening, plus whisper-quiet heat pump/AC units in the tastefully appointed guest rooms left us unable to wish for more. Other than a longer stay. Kudos to owners Susan and Steve."
"This is the most lovely place to stay. My daughter and I traveled from Colorado to Maine for the first time. We could not have loved our trip more. The rooms are cozy, and the food is delicious, and the hosts are so kind. I can't say enough good things about this place. Any time we go back to Maine, we will definitely make our way to the Five Gables Inn."
"If you are even considering staying here, do it—you won’t regret it. My husband and I stayed here just one night and we wish that we could’ve stayed here longer. It’s quaint, comfortable, cozy and has everything you need. We stayed in Room 16 which was the perfect, quiet, corner room. It had a great view of the bay. Right when we checked in, there were freshly baked warm cookies waiting for us in the kitchen. ❤️ Don’t get me started on the breakfast—it was incredible. The quiche, potatoes, and homemade muffins were amazing. The owners truly make you feel at home. We sat on the porch and had breakfast and coffee over looking the bay. Parking is super easy and accessible on the property. There is a reason why this is Traveler’s Choice best of the best 2022 by TripAdvisor. Book here! Loved it and can’t wait to come back."
