"I love the Lake Farm restaurant. With friends and food so close to home, what's not to love. Sadly it will close this winter, and may not reopen in the summer. Not only a loss for yearound residents but for summer people, visitors and beach-goers as well. The food is good and always fresh. What I will truly miss is Anita and her staff of friendly helpful ladies who always remember our faces."
"Wonderful down home cooking. They offer prime rib on fridays and it is wicked good. The prices are ok but the food is good so worth it. It's usually busy on the weekends so you may want to make reservations. Really friendly wait staff. Not a big place but very cozy."
"The staff were so friendly. I was there for two nights, celebrating my best friend's wedding. The view was beautiful and the rooms were so cute! There were bugs flying around in some of the rooms, but it's to be expected in an old house. A great introductory to Maine hospitality!"
"This restaurant and bed and breakfast is a busy place during the summer, but Anita, the manager, and her helpers, make everybody feel at home. During the winter, the restaurant is a magnet for locals who don't want to drive to Augusta or Rockland for a good meal. Prices are reasonable. There is a full bar. And Anita makes all the desserts. Her cakes are spectacular."
"We arrived as the dining room was getting read to close but they warmly served us dessert-which was delicious. After a good nights sleep in the B and B we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if our travels found us in this part of Maine again."
