"Feb 2024 2night stay. Room: VERY clean, cozy and exactly as described. We rented a king bed, Jacuzzi and fireplace room and all is perfect. Bathroom: Very clean, spacious and high celings make it confortable. Shower is ultra clean and GOOD SHOWER HEAD too :) Reception: Very nice lady and all smiles. Easy check in as well. Picked this place for a wkd getaway for my wifes birthday and we are very happy with our choice. Definately a keeper for us. N.B. cause of shortage of staff, they don't have automatic Daly room service. If one wants a room clean/change then you need to request it. In our case, tha was fine as it is a 2 night stay :)"

"Booked a night here in advance and paid in full… my son came down with RSV so there is no way I can leave him to spend the weekend away with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. I called to see if I could reschedule for a different weekend and they said absolutely not and I should have known when I booked a non refundable room. I am very upset they had no grace at all and took my money no problem. Not the kind of place I will ever return to again if that is how they treat people."

"Great location very close to everything. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and she loved it! Very smooth check in and check out process. We got a room with a jacuzzi and a fireplace and it was amazing. Watching the Celtics game while in the jacuzzi sipping a cold beer is an experience every man should have."

"This is a really nice place! We had stayed here before, in their lower building...which feels more secluded, much like a Retreat Centre. We had been given a certain room and when I mentioned our prior room, Destiny (GM) upgraded us to that lower building! Yea! But the room was not ready and Destiny & Cathleen decided to give us an upstairs room, with a patio in another of their buildings. This one was roomy and nice, but we heard the traffic all night long. :/. The service was top notch but I dropped the lovely room down because of the road noise. Overall, a pleasant stay but we left wishing for the first room given to us (but not ready) in the lower building.."

"This place is a hidden gem in North Conway. My husband and I took a ride north to see foliage last week. It was a last minute decision and we had not planned to stay overnight. The weather was unseasonably warm and drove a bit further north than expected. We decided to find a place to stay for the night. Most of the hotels had no vacancies and we were about to just go home. We then stumbled upon Golden Gables Inn. It’s located on White Mountain Highway. Check in was easy. The front desk clerk was inviting and knowledgeable. Our room was clean and updated. The bedding, towels, and toiletries were quality products. It was quiet in the back of the hotel. We appreciated that it was walkable to many stores and shops. I wish we could have stayed for a few days. We’ll definitely be back!!!"
