"SCAM!!! DONT BOOK!!! I have had friends on two different occasions, separate friends not knowing each other try booking at this place and it’s a complete SCAM!! He famously cancels the night before ur trip saying it’s double booked or an issue with the house and keeps all ur money. THEIF!!! He’s your everyday common THEIF. Steals your money to feed his habit (I’ll leave it to ur imagination on what habits ur money is feeding). This guys has no morals and remorse he takes your hard working money with a smile. STAY AWAY!"

"READ THE OTHER REVIEWS!! DON’T BOOK HERE!!! Phil Hendricks is a thief just as the other reviews have said. Don’t make the same mistake I did and book before reading reviews. He did exactly what others said and canceled our stay the night before and has yet to give me my refund. Offered a different house for different dates that wasn’t possible for us and offered to pay for our boat rental which he didn’t. Ignores calls texts and emails from me trying to get refunded. Most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had."

"Our whole family just spent the week at Eagle Point lodge Kineo view. Had a an exceptional vacation for the week. We loved the remote location and the views from the house were stunning. House is located in a remote section of the lake which is ideal to just relax and spend time with family. We loved that the house was big enough to fit the whole family and the fishing was great right off the dock. Couldn't ask for more for a vacation. Were already trying to plan next year we loved it so much. Thanks for everything!"

"We had a terrific week at Eagle Point Lodge! My family of 4, plus our dog, felt right at home. The location is remote and beautiful. The lake is majestic. The accommodations were more than comfortable. Phil was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We rented a pontoon boat for a few days, which was a super fun way to explore the lake. Can't wait to go back!"

"This is getting a 3 star review because the location is gorgeous and I enjoyed the relaxation with my family, but there are a lot of red flags. First of all, we were scheduled to visit Eagle Point Lodge in July of 2020, but at 8pm on the day before our arrival he emailed to cancel our trip, siting power issues that he blamed on the previous renters. After 2 months of back and forth and contacting VRBO myself, I finally got my money back and as an apology for the situation he offered us a free stay this year. Since we had a free stay, we decided ahead of time to book a pontoon boat for 3 days which we paid for in advance. Two days prior to our trip this year, Phil again tried to cancel, but I held firm and we were ae to arrive on time. We spent 4 nights at the camp and never saw a boat...The spot is very remote, but beautiful. The home was relatively clean, though there were a lot of cobwebs. The kitchen chairs were almost all broken or too wobbly to sit in and the outdoor chairs are the cheapest plastic I've ever seen. After some unpleasant messages, I did receive my refund for the boat. There is potential for a wonderful vacation at Eagle Point Lodge, but do yourself a favor ans read all the reviews so you can book it fully aware of the risk."
