"UPDATE: New England Resoul reached out to me and apologized and credited me for the cost of the repair, so good on them for that! Also, I just got my shoes back and the workmanship on the repair was fantastic. The rands looked nicely repaired. So solid customer service along with a great repair. Original review: I've had a few pairs resoled between 2020 for background. The first couple went great albeit slow turnaround time (around 2 months). As another reviewer posted, I had a similar issue where the rand wore down within a few sessions after the resole. Now I'm currently waiting for another pair I sent in way back in March. I finally got an email back saying they will ship it this week, so we're looking at about 3 full months for a resole (they promised 8-9 weeks). I think I will no longer send shoes to New England Resoul."

"Had a great experience with this place! Sent my Scarpas to them in rough condition and they came back in tip top shape. It does take a while for them to return to you though, so I would make sure you have a backup shoe to wear while the pair you send in are being worked on. Thank you, New England reSoul!"

"I’ve used New England resole 3 times now. The first couple times I was very satisfied with the work even though, the second time it took a week or two longer than expected to arrive home. The third time however was a nightmare. It took an extra month to arrive home. I didn’t hear anything from the company for a month and a half after I shipped the shoes and even after I did, communication was really slow. When I got the shoes finally, I wasn’t really happy with the work done. I usually ask the professionals to make judgement about whether a shoe needs a rand repair or not. I blew through my rand a week after I got my shoes back and these are a pair of shoes that are fairly new. On top of that, after about two weeks the glue from the resole started to come undone. I’m going to have to scrap these shoes once the sole is gone because blowing through the rand is irreparable unless I had sent them back the week after. I used to really like this company but I’ve switched to one in Virginia instead."

"Don’t waste your time with this business. Absolutely terrible customer service and turn around time estimate. I sent my shoes to NE Resoul about 3 months ago. 2 months after I sent them shoes I finally heard back saying my shoes were being “worked on” (initial estimated turn around time was 3 weeks). I waited a few more weeks and never heard back about my shoes. On Jan 1st I got an invoice saying my shoes were “almost ready,” and would be returned upon completion of invoice. I paid the 170 dollar invoice immediately and never heard back about my shoes. After multiple phone calls I eventually got the guy on the phone a few weeks later saying my shoes were being “finished today” and would be back at my local climbing gym by the following week at the latest! Three weeks later... still no shoes and complete radio silence from the shop? I’ve called him about 20 times (no answer), left multiple voicemails and sent him multiple contact forms on his website as he did close to 200 dollars worth of work on three pairs of my climbing shoes and still have not heard back from him? I find this whole customer experience terribly unprofessional. I understand he is a one man shop but if you are that far behind with work you need to hire an additional employee so you don’t lose more customers. I definitely won’t be sending shoes here again. I’m all about supporting small local business but I won’t support businesses that have terrible customer support, unreasonable timelines to return products and inability to show basic communicative skills via phone or email with their customers. Don’t waste your time with this shop send your shoes to Rock and Resole in Colorado, solid work and chances are you’ll get them back quicker than sending them here!!"

"Sent in climbing shoes months ago. No updates. Had to get a new pair just because I didn’t think it would take so long. Another climbing friend, it turns out, had the same problem despite them saying a 4 week turn around time and literally showed pictures that they barely did anything as far as a resole. The rand was splitting from the sole after one bouldering session. I emailed asking to have them sent back and upon doing so, their website seems down aside from ordering and contacting them. I dont recommend"
