"Just today I had a disappointing experience at this DSW. The store manager treated me poorly during a shoe exchange, displaying a lack of knowledge about their own policies. As a tourist from Egypt and a hijabi, I felt discriminated against. The manager's rude and mean behavior was unacceptable, especially for someone in a leadership role. It's disheartening to encounter such treatment from a store manager. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues and improve customer service."

"I have never walked out of here without a pair of shoes! They have a very large selection of name brands! While sightseeing in Boston, we stopped in because my current sneakers were not very good for walking. I walked out wearing a new pair of New Balance sneakers and felt like I was walking on air. They saved the day! ."

"My favorite place in Boston to shop for shoes! Although it is difficult for me to find something I really like there, once I do - it's always at a reasonable price and lasts me 2-3 seasons. Located at Downtown Crossing, it's close enough to other stores like tjmaxx or Marshalls, so you can make a shopping day out of it."

"Wasn't happy. I rarely shop here, and after wondering around because the sections aren't well labeled, I found the clearance section. I need a pair of dress shoes last minute, and didn't want to spend a lot, so when I saw the Clarence price of $14.99, I was excited. But when I went to checkout, I found out, that was not the price, and even though the signs make it seem like the whole section was Clearance, it actually only applied to a very select few, and the shoes were $70. Felt like it was done this way on purpose, banking on people not wanting to go all the way back up a floor, spend time finding a different pair, go back down a floor to check out and wait in line all over again to pay, and will instead choose to just pay the higher price. It felt very intentionally deceptive and I doubt il be going back."

"If you're looking for a new pair of shoes then you should visit DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse. I found a pair of shoes that was also on discount, but sadly the two boxes I found had only the left shoe. The employees couldn't find the two right shoes. The shoes were discontinued, so ordering wasn't possible. If you're lucky enough to find both the left and right shoes then you'll be very happy with your purchase. The employees are also very polite."
