South End Dog Park

"Our Poppy pup absolutely loves this dog park! We love it as well! It is a beautiful park that we had discovered a year before we got our puppy, when we were seeking out a location to fish from land that was easily accessible and had parking. So when we adopted our Poppy and sought to socialize her we started exploring dog parks....this one has been our favorite go to even if it's a bit further from our house, well worth the extra drive! It does get muddy and holds some water but we have seen an abnormally high amount of rain this past summer, fall and even so far this winter!"

"Beautiful view! Super clean place for your dog.. when they say voice control if off leash... please listen. There is open water, and if your dog does not listen... well.... nice paved path to walk on.. big space for dogs to run. No bells or whistles, but it's so nice."

"This is an off leash dog park. This is for dogs to play and to enjoy running and playing. Do not bring your little kids under 6 and expect that they won't get barked at. Don't throw your toy to your dog unless you expect other dogs may want it. Yes, there's people that leave there dogs poo on the ground...because they are not paying attention. You have all types of owners that will bring their dog(s) on the weekend...expect the the good and the bad ones."

"So beautiful and well maintained. Can't beat that view of the water and dock with views of the ships being worked on and the sculptures at the Maritime Museum. Is this the best dog park ever?!"
