Reviews of Schoolhouse Arts Center
"Enjoyed seeing Dan Sharrow in IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. Great views from any seat. Live quality theater right here in Gorham ME. Will definitely return."
"I enjoyed myself! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it on time and was about 7 minutes late. It was very funny, I walked into the building and it felt abandoned, but you could hear the actors in the theater. Most rooms were labeled, but the door to the theater wasn't. A lot of lights were off and it took me a few minutes to find the door that would take me into the theater room. It took me following my ears to the loudest door in a very dark room to guess which door to use. It was kind of fun like a scavenger hunt. I entered at the top of the theater and I wasn't able to get to my 2nd row seat without interrupting most of the audience's experience, so I decided to sit at the top. I had a lovely time. I would suggest that perhaps the theater door to be a bit more noticeable and labeled and maybe dimly lit for those who can't help but be a tad tardy or who need to use the restroom and find the door to get back in again. I adore wish there was a program so I could read an but not about the play and the wonderful actors. I couldn't find anything there and done see anything on the website either. I'll do some more digging. I would certainly go back!"
"Schoolhouse made our first Southern Maine community theatre experience extra special. Will never ever forget our “little murder mystery”!"
"Great experience. Great acting team!!"
"Noises Off was SO MUCH FUN! I do not understand how they pulled it off. Amazing! I like the way tickets can be paperless now."
