"Right now they have special events and Toddler Power Hour (Mondays only) Many of the toys and features set out are not designed or safe for TODDLERS so one must closely monitor their child's activity. It's a great spot to have a Play Date because it is not ever crowded. Wonderful also for children with developmental delays or special needs. I think it would be a great spot for a "Romper Room" sort of scheduled session. Progress is happening in the museum, proper but if there is a planned opening date, it isn't anywhere on their website."

"Absolutely visit the Children’s Discovery Museum with your kids! It’s a wicked fun place. If you go in nice weather, they also have a great outdoor playground. Oh and bring a change of clothes for your kids!! They WILL get wet if they play in the water table area!!!"

"Large area with a good variety of activities (slide, topographic sandbox, fish tank, faux-stores, and more). Good way to kill an hour. The area is fairly clean, but clearly has experienced some wear and tear judging from worn paint, torn up stuffed animals, and dirty carpets in spots. It is a decent way to kill an hour with small children. Be warned that they charge for the adults as well as the children."

"We just had a great time checking out the Augusta Maine Children's Discovery Museum. A great place for younger children too learn, play, and interact with others kids. For a small location they really have alot to do and see. I'd recommend this place too anyone with younger children and hope you all enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks for having us and we will see you again!!"

"My son has fun here. We were gifted a pass, and have used it a couple times. It is a nice place, some of the toys show their age and could use updating, but we like it and will go again."
