"Had my first visit today and let me tell you, from the second I walked through the door, I felt pampered. My massage therapist, April was amazing and left me floating out the door. Def going to be coming back!"

"Long review below! I was in Bridgton for New Years, and was looking to book a massage. There was no availability online, but I figured I would call to see if there were any last minute cancellations/openings. I first called at 5:30pm (they close at 6pm,) and there was no answer. Their voicemail stated you could also text to book, so I texted the number and got a response at 5:51pm stating that there was an opening at 12, I responded at 6:08pm with the service I wanted (figuring it was too late because it was after close which is understandable) but they responded at 6:27pm that it was confirmed. I was ecstatic! At 9am the next morning, I received a text stating that someone "booked my spot online in the middle of my conversation to book" and I no longer had my time slot. I knew this was not accurate, because there was no availability online to book. And they mean to tell me that within the 20 minutes that I booked my appointment through the service that THEY personally provided, they opened up the slot online, and someone booked it? After closing? The person "who booked after me," should have gotten this call. It was completely unfair, unorganized, and unprofessional. I called when I received this message, and was told by the manager (I did not catch her name) that "this just unfortunately happens sometimes and she will talk to her team about it." My first thoughts were "If this has happened before and you are aware of it... why hasn't there been a solution to prevent it from happening again...?" So, once I stated that this was a huge lack of professionalism and organization, this seemed to have struck a nerve and the manager was extremely passive aggressive and rude on the phone. I was not offered any accommodation other than another time slot at 4pm, which was way out of my availability. I have worked in customer service my entire life, and try to remain as empathetic and understanding as possible. I have never written a bad review before, but I truly could not wrap my head around this situation and can't find any way to justify what happened. Seems like a beautiful place, but that unfortunately doesn't outweigh terrible customer service to me. Super bummed!"
