"What a nice surprise! I've been to the beach many times, but never knew about the other parts! The hike on Center Hill was beautiful, and quite easy for me, as I have a disability in my foot."
"Park is hard to navigate/ poorly marked. We enjoyed the scenic overlook, and enjoyed the frog trail by the nature center! Bug spray is a must- we were eaten alive. The trail was beautiful and easy otherwise!"
"Incredible mountain range views, perfect place to go and have a good and easy (not to mention feeling safe leaving your vehicle in the lot) The rangers base station is literally in the same area. Friendly guys who work as rangers that I met. Access to cross country skiing and ITS 89 snowmobile trail head is another great perk. I met some nice people walking there dogs, and the dogs of course couldn't help themselves but to run over and say hello with excitement, But my main bullet point is definitely a great picture setting on the snow covered range and the frozen lake is something to admire. Even if you don't enter the trail system to Ski / Hike or Snowmobile (as was my reason for visiting) you can still get good scenic pics from the car on the entry road."
"Beautiful observation area that is handicapped accessible. Fantastic views with no need to get out of the car. But if you do there are picnic tables and a walking path (not handicapped accessible) with outlooks to enjoy. We especially love this area in the fall."
"We camped here many times when our kids were young and again when they grew up. Now we stop occasionally for a picnic or just enjoy it. It's a wonderful lake with a grass beach and changing area and a super campground. The fall colors are gorgeous."
