"If visiting mid-coast Maine this is a great place to stay. Located on the Bristol peninsula just 3 miles south of Damariscotta. It’s an old and rustic farmhouse with multiple fireplaces and timber frame construction. All of the rugs and blankets are woven by the host on her loom. The rooms are very clean as well as the bathroom. With a private entrance there is no need to worry about disturbing others."
"Phyllis Leck is the real deal. A trip to the Maine Village Weaver studio and shop is like going to an updated living history museum. The innovation that the weavers of old employed in their work continues with the likes of Phyllis Leck. The breadth of her work runs from long wearing rugs to soft, feminine scarfs. I use my table cloth and napkins every day! Added attraction is her iron artist husband's studio and shop on the same property. Worth a stop when visiting the Pemaquid area."
