"I ordered plans for a Firestar from Rob at Laughing Loon and was so impressed with the design and quality of instruction that I later ordered plans for a Northstar. The instructions that come with the plans are a better how-to on strip construction than most of the how-to guides available in book form. Rob's staple-less construction techniques produce a boat that is stronger and more beautiful than the quick-and-easy stapled boats most people produce.
