"My son just had his final round of educational testing with Dr Nathan. He started when he was 6 and is now 17. I cannot say enough how informative her reports and sessions were. Her detailed information helped us understand our son’s strengths and needs and how we could support him at home, extracurricular activities, and school. We were overwhelmed by his challenges and she highlighted his strengths and helped us use a strength-based approach. Additionally, she listened to our concerns. The report recommendations for school often took our concerns into account. This approach honored our role as parents and helped us to advocate for our son during IEP meetings. "I have been seeing Maddy Nathan in therapy over 13 years as a patient. I have never been more pleased with a medical professional. She is a great psychologist and, frankly, a human-being. I met Dr. Nathan in 1998 for neuropsychological testing as an eight-year-old. My teachers and parents suspected I had ADHD, along with other behavior problems. As a nervous young child, she made me feel at-ease with her warm demeanor and clear instructions. The testing lasted two days, and I can recall it was fun and interesting, which I was not expecting at the time. I recently read my report from back then, and it was very thorough and well-written. I received many accommodations from my school, and my family learned how to create an environment in which I could thrive. I saw Maddy for two years in therapy until she moved. I was so pleased with her work that, after she moved back, I began seeing Maddy again when I was sixteen and entering a very tough time in my life.
