"In a state of an emergency this hotel allowed us to come with our pet friendly breed but 35 lbs their rules are 10lbs. They made an exception for a small fee. The room was clean and it a microwave, fridge, tv and the beds were very comfortable and pillows too. It was quite despite being full. We stayed two nights and it was well worth the money. And the front desk man was so kind and generous."
"Do not go here. It was an absolute mess. Employees were fine but but the rooms themselves are something else. Red and brown stains on sheets, torn shower curtain, mold in drop ceiling in bathroom, handles coming off of furniture, heater smells like burning. Needs more than just a remodel"
"We checked in and mind you we stayed here 2-3 weeks before and they put us in the same room. As we got unpacked and laid on the bed we noticed a bed bug crawling on the sheets. After we googled to make sure it was a bed bug we lifted the bed skirt and found another bug..... If that wasn't bad enough we noticed our food crumbs/stain from when we stayed previously were still in the same exact spot as when we left but they made the bed but never changed the sheets. We went down and brought it to their attention and they refused to give a refund. 10/10 would recommend Evergreen Hotel down the road."
"Smelled, dirty, stained and wrinkled sheets, would never stay here again. Arrived late - 10pm and guy at front desk was annoyed when I complained about the smell in the first room they tried to give me and then moved me to a less smelly but filthy room. I didn’t feel comfortable to ask to move again. WiFi non existent, so glad I had flip flops so I didn’t have to step on the floor. Overall terrible experience - hardly slept and left by 7am."
"DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION FOR THIS HOTEL. I needed a room for one night while on the way to Bar Harbor. I called the hotel after I booked it a month ago to confirm that I would be traveling with my service animal. The employee on the phone said I needed to prove it with the proper paperwork. I know from working in/staying in multiple hotels that it’s against the American Disabilities Act. I decided to just deal with that “proof” upon check-in. At check-in today, the employee asked for my card and ID at check-in. I told him I’m traveling with a service animal, he asked for paperwork. I told him “no”. I didn’t want to fight, just wanted to check into my hotel. After receiving my key for room 128, I called the Front Desk from the room and said the sheets had blood/dirt stains and asked for a different room. I bring my belongings back to my car, I meet the same employee at the Front Desk where they meet me to give new keys to 126. I asked “are you sure the sheets are clean?” in the lobby. They said yes. I brought belongings back into the second room. Same thing. Blood/dirt stains on the sheets. The room smelt like damp cigarettes. Instead of causing a fuss with an employee who obviously doesn’t care about the costumers and won’t find a solution. I just left and found a hotel where the Front Desk didn’t break ADA Laws and the hotel was clean! Unfortunately, Wyndham refused to refund my stay because the employee at the Days Inn refused to on his end. He blamed my “pet” even though I told him it was a service animal and even explained what service he provided. I will move forward with a dispute on my credit card because Wyndham/Priceline/Capital One Travel/and this disgusting hotel didn’t want to refund me for my stay. Save yourself the headache and one of the Hilton’s nearby."
