The Ventilator Integration Program (VIP) at Hasbro Children's Hospital, located at 593 Eddy Street in Providence, Rhode Island, is a specialized medical institution that provides care for infants, children, and young adults with chronic respiratory problems who are dependent on medical technology. Working closely with primary care physicians, our team tailors individualized care plans for each patient. The VIP program follows a patient- and family-centered care model, involving and educating families in all aspects of treatment, including the use of medical technology.

Many of our patients require home ventilators to assist with breathing due to conditions such as lung disease, weak breathing muscles, or neurological disorders. Our program not only provides medical care but also coordinates additional specialized services to meet the unique needs of each patient. Clinic visits are held on select Wednesdays each month at the Lower Level of Hasbro Children's Hospital, offering a comfortable and family-friendly environment for patients and families.
