"Patient centered therapists. They are actually listening. Thank you Dr. Tiff!!"
"Please don't waste your time. My poor child waited two months for help from Jared Nemkov, and it was an absolute waste. She can't get out of bed from Major Depressive Disorder and we were counting the days to this appointment and he did nothing to help her. Just for moving to a new state, she can't get her medication. How about a simple phone call to her doctor from Colorado? Nope, too much work. But go ahead and bill my credit card. Absolutely apathetic and hurting people who reach out for help. I called the clinic for help before posting but not even the courtesy to pick up the phone and return a call."
"Since LifeStance took over CommonwealthCare, I have gotten about 4 text messages asking me to rate them on Google...before I even had 1 appointment! And they won't stop asking. My therapist left when LifeStance took over, but the other 3 people I've worked with over the last 3-5 years have been wonderful, including the front desk and appointment people."
"Lifestance took over my mental health service provider and ruined it. The therapist I had been with left the practice when the takeover happened, and he could no longer take my insurance. So I proceeded to go through a hellish process of prescreening with 3 different therapists under the Lifestance practice. That's 3 short phone calls where I got about 10 minutes to do an elevator pitch on my lifetime of mental health problems and trauma. The first 2 ended in the therapist deciding "I wasn't a good fit" for them. With the third one I made it to a first full appointment, only to be told this at the beginning of the second appointment. So I had one full appointment to more fully explain my challenges, only to be told "sorry I can't help you with any of that" at the second appointment. I literally paid a $25 co-pay just to be dumped by a therapist. At that point I was done. Trying to find a therapist under Lifestance was a long process of reliving trauma over and over again with no help in the end."
"They do not care about the well being of their patients. I forgot to call and cancel an appointment I had to miss and was charged $125. I understand that it was an inconvenience for the nurse practitioner I was supposed to see but it was my first time and not repeated. She said it herself:"I know it's backwards that we stress people out about money while caring for their mental health". Hypocrites, bad business and a waste of money."
