Lexington Eye Associates

"I am sure the medical care is fantastic. This area is well known obviously for unbelievable medical care. This is not a post in any way/shape/form related to medical care. I was contacted today by Lexington Eye Associates to cancel my appointment for Friday, December 22. Mind you, I made this appointment this summer, anticipating a delay. When I called back to reschedule (per their directions), I was informed that they do not have any openings until March. This is so patently ridiculous I couldn't even believe hearing that. As someone who works in medical and understands the idiosyncrasies of scheduling providers, this excuse- with zero justification- is incredibly unprofessional and unbecoming. I requested any provider available, and was told March as mentioned. I would recommend moving forward that the staff at Lexington Eye Associates has a response other than "no" when THEY are the ones making THE PATIENT reschedule. Just typing that sentence alone is ridiculous. I am incredibly saddened by this as I am currently having multiple eye issues that I did not immediately address this fall, because, well, I had an appointment. Now, presumably, I am back to square one with no eye doctor, no appointment, and no diagnosis. Thank you Lexington Eye."

"A possible issue was identified at my yearly routine exam and I was quickly given an appointment and seen by Dr. Lazzara. He was very patient and clearly explained what was going on and what the next steps were. The staff from coordinator, front desk, and technician were all awesome. I would highly recommend the Lexington office."

"My annual exam was fine. I did get a text changing location from Arlington to Lexington on the evening before the appointment. It just meant allowing an extra 20 minutes for the drive through both Arlington Heights and Lexington Center traffic. Once in parking lot, I got immediate attention to enter, arrived on floor to be called over directly to a Receptionist, who was quite prepared for my moved location, making any adjustments transparent to me. Timing worked in my favor, too. Meetings with technician and doctor had no delays. I was out in my car in 70 minutes for what could easily have been 90 minutes in past experiences."

I just had very successful cataract removal in April and it was done so well. The whole process of preparation, billing, the procedures, and post-op care was terrific. I've been going there for 30 or so years and I recommend them very highly."
