"i got my CarryOn Flex at this store yesterday... since i knew what i wanted it was a matter of selecting a color, checking out the features closely and paying... the published dimensions of this suitcase are 21.7"x15.95"x9", which means it meets the carry-on restrictions of most if not all airlines (22"x18"x10")... the store itself was rather too warm to hang around for too long... there were 4 employees and only my wife and i as customers, which seemed overstaffed for the business being made... the employee that helped us was just that, help... not a salesperson boasting the product features... the product shell seems flimsy, we'll see how it handles international travel."
"This has been an awful experience from start to finish and a huge waste of time. 1. It should be clearer on your website that there are different size carry-ons 2. Away is not tracking UPS returns - so an additional 5 days were lost, which would have been longer if I didn’t check and email you. 3. No easily accessible phone number or person to speak with. The 800 has a message which disconnects after an automated message. 4. Response time to emails is very slow 5. The wrong bag/size bag (medium instead of the ordered carry on) was sent with out new packing cubes. Please note, this is the second suitcase that was sent. 6. No one is explaining the difference between the classic and the original bag. "Additionally, we're completely sold out of the Original Bigger Carry-On in Coast and we’re happy to replace your item with the Classic Bigger Carry-On in Matte Coast” 7. This ordeal started over three weeks ago and now the suitcase it’s hear for an important business trip. 8. I will need to make a second trip to UPS to return the medium bag, which is not a carry on/I didn’t order. After exchanging the small carry on for the bigger carry on. 9. A lot of time was spent trying to solve this issue and nothing was done by Away to resolve it in a timely manner. "You stated that you have upcoming trip this September 15. Please note that all orders will take 1-3 days for the processing and we are unable to send it overnight." 10. You have a Boston store - at this point send a suitcase from your store via a messenger."
"Immediately after paying $1000 for my items I asked to use the bathroom to wash my hands (they were sticky after touching their demo products) and they told me no, and suggested trying the hotel across the street. I pushed back slightly by questioning the response and they brought me a bleach wipe to clean my hands. Good quality products but this experience at the Seaport store was very off putting. Not like I walked in off the street to use their bathroom, I spent some money."
"Came here a few times and finally settled on a carry on luggage. 1 or 2 of the staff were knowledgeable whilst some others were not so. Good selection of luggages and colours. Pricey but the compartments and ease of moving around the luggage were pleasant delights."
