"Dr Remia has earned every point on those stars. This was the third time he had invaded my body, each invasion a separate joint, having previously replaced the other hip and a knee. Each time the procedure went with better than predicted results in that I was back on my feet with an improved performance more quickly and with less pain than anticipated. I am now two weeks post-op and walking some distance with a cane. The pain was minimal as was my need for analgesics, in fact after Day 9 or 10 I was mostly taking them for a toothache with the knee being secondary. Dr Remia has built an exemplary support crew whose efficiency is extraordinary. A special shout out to Chrissy Burnell here whose scheduling abilities must be legendary throughout the Medical community. The protocols Dr Remia has developed promote fast healing, a superlative range of motion and (this is important to us girls) minimal scaring. He will probably wince when he sees this, I am a 70 old woman who loves to waltz in 5" heels among other activities and from what I am seeing this time tells me I will be back there quite soon. Dr Remia, Len, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Whilst I hope never to see you again (in a professional capacity), I have one knee remaining which is working fine, but should it fail I know to whom I will turn.
