"This has the potential to be a gorgeous park! But it is clearly not cared for. The pond is a mess, there's trash in the water. The grassy areas are mowed but in some spots there are tall weeds. We were there on a Saturday and it was empty. Felt a little creepy."
"Playground was super cool with lots of options and play area. The zipline was so much fun and a favorite for my 3 year old! There's a water pump area that's a cool idea but didn't work the greatest. Multiple playscapes to accomodate younger and older children. The grounds aren't maintained and there was some graffiti and trash littered throughout. Definitely a hot spot for tennis players. There were so many people playing tennis. Lots of space and they offer smaller nets to divide the large fields into smaller spaces accommodating double the amount of people. Despite unmaintained grounds, it's definitely one of the coolest playgrounds I've ever been to!"
"Very weird experience if you park the car on the street and then walk to the playground. That was what we did. This park is very famous so we decided to stop by to finally take a look. Parked the car and saw trash and tents and homeless people, one, two, a whole family and one more who was drugged and bald… . it was surreal and scary. We went further and saw a hawk eating his lunch on the ground, then many ducks and the scenery started to change. we saw kids play in the water with fountains and then wola!!! a very beautiful, well build and friendly playground. What a contrast this park offers. If you have kids, please do visit. Just park near the playground."
"Very easy to find not much parking. Plenty of things to do dog friendly there is softball fields basketball courts beach volleyball football field tennis courts playgrounds a little restaurant called queens castle ice-skating in the winter plenty of things to do nice huge park right off Interstate 295 Please follow me Be careful of drug use I found plenty of left over needles from drug users the park should be cleaned up and supervised better"
