"I recently visited Over the Moon with a large group of friends, and it was an absolute delight! The craft beers were exceptional, offering a diverse range of flavors that catered to every palate. The food was a delicious surprise, with a menu that perfectly complemented the beer selection. The live music elevated the atmosphere, creating a lively and enjoyable experience. The friendly team added a personal touch, making it clear that this brewery is not just a place to grab a drink, but a community hub where you can unwind, savor great food, and revel in fantastic music. Can't wait for my next visit!"
"We love living in the area! The Mead was so delicious - an absolute must try! Very sweet server was not well trained and most of our dishes sit on the table during our entire meal. The table was not wiped clean once even through coffee and dessert. The blueberry pizza was under cooked in the middle and burnt around the edges. Other food was very, very delicious. Beautiful views of the meadow."
"Food was mediocre at best. I wanted to love this place. The shrimp with grits was bland and uninteresting, although the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Think baby food and shrimp and you’d be close. My dining companion was not wowed with his salmon and pasta, but ate it all, so that says something? Atlantic Salmon, no color. Bottom line: the menu has two major flaws. 1. Everything is “sweet.” Think honey or fruit in every offering and you’d get the idea. 2. No color. Every offering lacked color. Green should be a major component of any menu. We didn’t see any! Last comment is that all of the plants were dead. I realize that this is September, but what this tells me is there is an overall lack of attention to detail. It showed in the menu as well as in the beer and the atmosphere. Even the lavender in vases on the table was brown, and lavender should dry as purple. Bottom line: go for the burger or pass on dinner; choose a warm day and a beer with a high alcohol content and enjoy the view. That was what made the trip worthwhile."
"This is kind of a hard rating to give but this comes down to bang for the buck and value. The staff was super nice and they were a lot busier than normal due to the festival in town but they definitely were struggling with the increase in customer flow. Did not realize the beers in pink on the board are not actually their own beers. But regardless the beers we tried were really great. The Russian imperial bronze award-winning Stout was delicious. As was the prairie artisan ale, Russian imperial Stout We think we actually liked a slight bit better. For three 6 oz pours They were about 12 bucks a piece which found to be a little bit pricey compared to many other higher quality beer places we've been to. The setting on the farm was beautiful great landscape great view plenty of seating and very enjoyable, the inside interior barn area was a nice little spot too. We decided to grab food, ordered a couple of burgers and sadly a handful of fries came out and a pretty good burger not the best not the worst but decent for $22 each felt a little bit overpriced for the value. We then threw caution to the wind and ordered a blueberry bacon pizza and after about 20 minutes we were informed that they were out of the ingredients to make it so we substituted for the three little pigs pizza which is more so like a meat lovers for a few dollars extra. $26 for a 12-in pizza I believe most are all ingredients are probably farm to table but just felt a little bit overpriced. Again they were slammed pretty busy but we witnessed the head chef actually come out and wait on some tables if they were so busy and had people waiting 40 minutes to an hour for food the head chef should not be out waiting tables lol It was nice to see and she was very pleasant and very engaging but there seems to be some growing pains with this place. Don't get me wrong this is not a bad place, the food is good (but not great), the beer is good, the setting and atmosphere and staff all are good just when you compare it to so many other places that you've been it is overpriced for what We felt we received."
"This restaurant was so special & I would recommend it to anyone in the area! Truly a hidden gem. The full restaurant is open Thursday-Sunday and we went on a Wednesday to the taproom which was still fantastic & will definitely be back to get the full experience. On Wednesdays they serve wood fired pizzas in addition to their rotating tap list. We tried a few pizzas and sat on a picnic bench outside and enjoyed the sunset with a beautiful view (photos included of the view from our picnic table outside!) The service was personal and friendly & the food was very good even with the limited menu!! We will 100% be back!"
