Reviews of Lebanon KOA Holiday on Salmon Falls River Holiday
"This place is beyond perfect. Visited this campsite for a solo get away, stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. Everything from the employees to the rooms, the trails, the pools, etc, was great. This campsite is huge and there is so much to do! The general Manager Steve was Fantastic. Being a solo female traveler, Steve made sure I was well taken care of to ensure my safety. They met all of my needs, I will 100% be recommending this campsite to friends and family. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much!"
"This place has nice amenities if you have a family. My husband and I enjoyed the mini golf and we went tubing in the salmon falls rive. This is probably the dirtiest campground I’ve ever been to. There was trash in our campsite, trash along the sides of the roads, thrash in the bathhouses. We found a beer can along the river bank. When we arrived at our campsite there was no picnic table, we had to walk to an empty site nearby to grab one and bring it to our site. The grossest part of all was when we were leaving, my husband was dumping the tanks on the camper, the sewer overflowed into our neighbors campsite. Overall, a lack of attention to detail in general, especially for what they charge to stay here. The guy that came by to take care of the sewer situation was super nice. Other than that it was a lousy experience. I stayed here years ago when my kids were little, it’s really gone downhill."
"We always love this place and have stayed a fee times. Thus particular time there was a error on our end when booking the location we even paid extra to secure the location because they say you have to if you want a spot. We do not even go into the place and immediately address our concerns and location as well as safety for our family based on location of this cabin which on the map showed differently. Anyways we asked to be moved and were given multiply excuses to why that could not happen. So we went down to the office and explained the situation and was told we were able to switch on the phone due to the other properties were not paid to hold them however the office now insist they do not know how to do and its our fault for paying before knowing we did not want the location. Great can I get a refund then and we will drive back home this is how unhappy we are and still a NO is told to us again. 4th time staying at this place and should def be the last"
"Great campground with unprofessional and unethical management. We camped here last year and loved it so much we decided to turn it into an annual outing. Our kids have been begging to go back all year because of the 2 pools, awesome mountain waterslide, and very clean bathrooms. We reserved a 20' tent site with electric, water, and a gravel pad. On our drive down I called the campground who informed me: - we didn't have a tent site assigned - we would've needed to have paid $60 to have a site assignment and ability to pick the site - but assured me the type of site we reserved we would be checked into Once we arrived they processed the rest of the payment, and gave us our tent assignment. We pulled up to a site that had no water, no electric, no gravel pad - and neighboring campers canopies were setup on the site they assigned us. We returned to the check in office where the front desk admitted to processing the payment for the site we reserved, despite downgrading our tent site because they had overbooked the one we reserved. They did all of this without telling us they were overbooked and they had to downgrade us. I asked for them to upgrade us to an RV Site *the only sites they had left, which was the difference of $30* and the manager repeatedly told the front desk we would have to pay the difference. We then waited 40 minutes to speak with the manager, who insisted we had always been assigned to site 88, and that our reservation was for a regular plain tent site without water, electric, or gravel pad (even after I shared the phone call on the way down to the site, the front desk admitting our site not aligning with our reservation, and while he was looking at the email they sent me confirming my tent site type). I'll note, in the end the manager seemed annoyed I kept asking for an upgrade to an RV site given our experienced, and eventually waved me away saying "Tell Kathy to match the price". Big picture - - they knowingly collected a higher payment for a site they didn't check-us in for - never offered to issue a refund for the difference in sites - would not eat the cost of $30 for an upgrade given the inconvenience - management that doesn't see an issue with any of the above and whose first response is to lie, cheat, and steal. I will also note - there was a line of 2 other gentlemen waiting to see the manager because the campground collected payment for a gray tank, but didn't have the staff to empty it - and instead told the gentlemen he can empty it himself (and would not issue him a refund either). It makes me wonder how many other campers have been uncharged without even knowing it. $30 in this instance would be thousands over the course of a summer for this business. Again, GREAT campground assuming you don't need customer service and everything is straightforward and perfect. And as someone who has arachnophobia - the bathrooms are SO CLEAN."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We especially appreciated the extras like mini golf and rope course being available for no added charge! We stayed in the basic cabin and loved it! We also enjoyed floating down the river! Oh, and let’s not forget the pool with the water slide! Thank you so much and we will be back!"
