"I love when I see people enjoying this park. It is a great walking loop."
"Beautiful spacious park. Great place to see a lot of nice dogs. There is a Veterans monument there. There are benches and table to eat at. This park is a perfect place to take senior pictures. Park is clean and well maintained. A good place for a walk, to run around with the kids, or just stop and eat your lunch."
"Absolutely beautiful place. We drove from Detroit to Bangor (16 hrs) and stopped here to have our lunch out of the car. It is just a field surrounded by picnic tables, benches, and a path. Our toddler enjoyed running. It was so gorgeous, and everyone we encountered was extremely nice."
"I have been to Capitol Park on multiple occasions. Both for events and just to go walking/picnic. There is a clear, level, gravel path to walk on and benches to sit on along the route. The grass is well maintained and open--good for frisbee, picnics, etc. Many people will walk their dogs along the path as well and it is right across the street from a playground."
