"I first went to Sally in November 2018 complaining of pelvic floor pain after too much bicycling and a bike accident. Besides the cycling issues she immediately found more issues with posture, muscle weakness and tightness. She has been a life saver, helping me step by step. Whenever I come in with a list of new symptoms she has an explanation why and a way to help. Whenever I become discouraged she becomes my biggest cheerleader!! Her videos of new exercises/stretches help, as do her explanations of what is going on in my body. Sally is very professional but also so much fun to be with!! I can not recommend her highly enough- she has brought me back in better condition than I was before. P.S. My husband, also a cyclist, also goes to Sally for many issues and has never felt better. "As a personal trainer, Sally is one of the few physical therapists that I feel comfortable refering my clients and my family to. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about how the body works which gets her patients results quickly, but she is warm and compassionate which allows her clients to feel respected and comfortable. After seeing Sally myself, I can now sleep much better at night without waking up in pain after I sustained a neck injury. Getting a good night's sleep affects my whole day and that to me is invaluable."
"After injuring my back, I contacted Sally Moores at Artemis Physical Therapy. Sally's response time was amazing! She is an experienced and caring professional who provided great relief in my time of need and significant pain. I was up and about in no time, thanks to Sally's practical approach. Sally provided a treatment plan that is easy to stick with both at home and while at work. Just an hour with Sally and I was well on my way to better health. I'm so grateful to her for getting me back into the routine of life!"
"Sally is awesome. Here's why- After the birth of my second child, I had a pretty large Diastasis (abdominal split) which required physical therapy. Having never done physical therapy, I didn't realize how much of one's success relies on how properly and consistently one does their exercises. In order to be successful on your own, in your home, you need a few things 1- you need to understand each motion / exercise and how it relates to your body and 2- it needs to be achievable and interesting enough to keep your attention. Sally is a fantastic at keeping it light and fun while challenging one physically. She is very positive and keeps you engaged and motivated. I could feel progress and looked forward to seeing her each week. She is funny and personable, but most importantly she is knowledgeable and generous with her time, using each session to teach and guide. I learned so much from her. She gave me a way of visualization that helped me properly complete each assignment. With Sally's help, I am happily on the mend. I absolutely would recommend her (and have!) to my friends as well as to anyone in need of a wise, thoughtful, compassionate, and truly fantastic physical therapist."
"I have known Sally for several years, but did not see her in a professional capacity until the spring of 2014. Before I had my twins, I was a recreational long-distance runner and battled hip/IT band/knee issues – following my first marathon in 2007, my issues flared to the point of not being able to run. I visited a PT clinic in the neighborhood and just hoped for the best; however, after about 2 months of weekly appointments and no progress, I gave up on PT and running (which also coincided with my pregnancy). Flash forward several years and I returned to running with less mileage, but still the same hip/IT band/knee problems flaring on occasion. Despite the first poor experience, I finally decided that I needed to try PT again – and I immediately thought of Sally. After my first session with Sally, I was surprised at how quickly she seemed to identify the problem. Further, the area of focus was NOT the same as the previous PT…I was a bit skeptical as my piriformis and hip were bothering me, NOT my back! However, the simple exercises she prescribed were so worth it! I visited her only twice and it was enough to get me back out on the road. Now when I feel like my issues are starting to flare, I return to those exercises to keep things in check. Sally is personable, knowledgeable, humorous, and honest. My two sessions with her were focused and simple and she provided at home work exercises that were straightforward and easy to do. I admire Sally and her interest in providing quality patient care and would not hesitate to visit her again!"
