AFC Urgent Care Malden

"So I figured my walk in visit would be like most of my other walk in visits at any urgent care. I am signing up to be an HHA and was designated this particular location. I was at fault for lack of information that should have been passed along. Honestly some people love their jobs then some have a lot of nerve to make up stories and start raising their voice in front of other patrons. I tried to be calm about the whole experience because I'm going through a lot of "Life" and the embarrassment provided by the said manager of the branch spoke in volumes. I guess I shouldn't be upset maybe I just deserve it. But to fabricate a whole scenario and to be a professional on camera seems to be one of those common things now of days. I was able to complete my physical for the long awaited job but the manager or myself were not sorry and it took so much from my soul not to burst out laughing. Thank you for the experience. At least I had a genuine reason as to why my blood pressure was above normal."

"I've been there a few times. The staff care about your wellbeing and are clear on what support they can offer. Most recently, I took my daughter there who threw up in the exam room, one of the nurses Liz grabbed supplies and cleaned up the mess without blinking. She told me to focus on taking care of my baby and she would take care of the mess. Much appreciated especially on such a messy day for us."

"If waiting for 3 hours to see the only doctor in the Malden location is the new normal. Then, some big changes have to happen. Put more doctors in that location for an efficient and expedite care. The staff is very young but professional. A special thank you to Amina for her exceptional customer service though!"

Once I got to the office my wait time was incredibly short, and the provider I saw Molly McMonachie was so helpful, and answered all my questions. I really enjoyed that I didn’t feel rushed there, they all spent as much time as I needed during my appointment."

"Took a bit to be seen after check in but I understand why so I won't hold that against them. The staff were really attentive, the website gives you a "queue" to see where you are in the order of patients to be seen. They were very thorough and listened to what I had to say regarding my symptoms, and immediately offered me tests for covid and flu. Definitely will be coming back should I need a minor medical visit."
