I woke up without any pain and a snack! So a win-win! "This place hands down is the worst place you can get a procedure. If your doctor schedules a procedure here, ask for somewhere else. The medical staff. Fantastic. The front office and their billing? Forewarned they will threaten you, mess up their coding, won’t take accountability, then you’ll spend months wasting your time and doing their job for them and in the end they still won’t rectify an issue they caused. 2 days before my surgery I was contacted by their billing department telling me I owned 800$ before they could admit me. False, as this is completely covered under my insurance. They even threatened to cancel it if I didn’t pay. Spent hours of my time rectifying this issue, in the end their billing department was wrong. I should have taken this as a red flag and went somewhere else. However i got the procedure done and to my shocked self (not really given what happened prior to the surgery) they were trying to bill me. They coded my surgery wrong and even insurance confirmed they did, which is why it wasn’t fully covered. I spent hours going back and forth between them and my insurance to get this resolved. I even provided them the codes from my insurance that they needed to use. Still, every few weeks I was receiving a bill. They weren’t doing anything to change this, even though there is proof they coded it wrong. The last bill I got I sent a long email going over every detail again and at this point I’m seeking a lawyer. They called me a few days later and said tough luck, you still owe. When I told them I’m not paying it, as it’s COVERED under my insurance and you guys coded it wrong, They had their collections department call me a few hours later, Talk about threatening? This place does not give a care in the world about you, your insurance/benefits, or to take accountability for their mistakes. Anyone that works in that office is not qualified to work billing/customer service/hospitality. I will be fighting this and I have told everyone i know to stay very clear. Unless you want to spend 10 months fighting them to ignore you and demand money you don't owe, then go ahead, this place is for you!"
"Went in for a routine endoscopy, came out with COVID - now my whole family is sick. The ONLY people I was around without a mask were the employees. If you thought a surgical center with a mask mandate would be the last place to expose you to COVID, think again. Employees' loose fitting surgical masks didn't do the trick, and now my high-risk family members are paying the price."
