"Had an incredibly bizarre intake appointment here for a relative. We were there for an hour and a half before the intake person explained what the services actually were that she expected my relative to sign up for. If she had explained in the first couple of minutes it would have saved us the entire visit, or actually responded when we laid out what we needed within the first half hour, but she was clearly recently graduated and lost control of the appointment almost immediately due to her inexperience (plus lack of flexibility in the services this place currently offers) so perhaps I should have held her hand a little more. Having been here before, I know organizationally they have no problem wasting people's time. She also pretty abruptly told us we had different insurance than she expected (after well over an effing HOUR) and ended the visit. All the comments here about just trying to take your insurance for a ride kinda ring true to me after how bizarrely that appointment ended. This is one that I'll call the insurance company over because it was just so unprofessional. Edit: I've received 5 messages in 3 business days about follow up... Cuz, you know, an hour and a half appointment wasn't long enough. I don't think I really need to explain how superfluous or annoying anyone might find that but here I am explaining."
