"I will preface this review by stating that I am a finicky acupuncture patient, and have seen more acupuncturists over the past few years than most people will see in their lifetime. I have high requirements, and am active in my self-care (to the point of being somewhat annoying, but hey, it's my body), so my acupuncturists have a pretty high bar to meet. Despite the very public proclamation I just made, I am slightly embarrassed at how often I have jumped around looking for the right healer. I am not necessarily proud of my particularity, but that is why I am sharing this healer with you. The search has totally been worth it, and I am about to save you a bunch of trial and error: go see Susan. I am ecstatic to have found her. I don't feel like a passive recipient with Susan. She has the perfect combination of engagement and care that feels nurturing and supportive, but she also empowers me in my own health decision making. I have digestive issues and anxiety, and saw a marked improvement after just a few visits, especially with stubborn eczema patches that had followed me around for a while. I feel like we are in this thing together, and THAT connection is exactly what I have been searching for. I know I am in good hands (and needles) with this one. You will be too."

"I have been struggling with how to write this review without it sounding totally fake. I honestly believe that my treatments from Susie have changed my life. And I don't say that lightly. I am a high school teacher and I have a toddler. I've notoriously been a bit stressed. I've known Susie for many years and now that we live closer I am lucky and honored to get acupuncture treatments from her. I am sleeping better, I have more energy, and I am definitely less stressed out. Not only have I noticed a difference in my own body, but my family has noticed a difference and my colleagues have noticed a difference. I think my students have noticed too because my classes are going great and I am able to be more present with them. And with my daughter. And with my wife. Susie's approach is gentle and warm.
