Reviews of Arch Clinic of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine
"I am writing this review about Mady Mindich who treated me. At the time I saw her I had been erroneously diagnosed as having Vulvodynia by Dr. V. Tennant at BMH and was in such agony that I was nonfunctional and had been bedridden for almost 5 months. I was so grateful to Mady. She has all the most important qualities of a healthcare provider. She listened and asked questions, she read research I had discovered on the NIH e site and further researched on her own. She is an excellent acupuncture practitioner, and she is very kind. I S so happy to have found her. However, she then left for vacation for a month. I was in such agony and felt so poorly treated by Dr. Tennant that I sought a specialist in Boston. I was especially concerned because she was unresponsive, did not examine me when my agony escalated and refused to speak to me on the phone. She at one point gave me a minis use amount of Tramadol but refused to give an appropriate dose because “that’s not the appropriate treatment”. As if pain relief is ever a treatment. All this while I was completely unable to get out of bed for months. I did some research and realized I was receiving the wrong treatment. It is now 2 months since I went to Boston to see a specialist and I’m just starting to feel better. But always listen to your gut. Mady Mindich is the best! As for my gyn experience at BMH, oh my god."
"I do love to see Joanna!! She is always attentive to my needs and I am NEVER rushed through an appointment so she can see the next client. She has great advice for healing and if she’s not sure of the answer she will research it and get you the correct answer. Thank you so much Joanna for all that you do."
"I met Joanna last spring when I couldn’t see my regular acu due to shut down with pandemic . She worked with me on zoom and gave me a laser to do work on myself until she could open! So helpful. She is so kind and compassionate and truly cares about your health . She listens and researches your issues . She got me out of a bladder flare up with a condition I have and has helped my cfs issues as well. Also without even trying - helped my low platelets get close to normal ! I’ve also noticed improvement in hormonal deregulation due to peri- menopause. My cramping from monthly cycle went from a curled in fetal position 10 to a 1/2 each month! I always feel like no matter what’s going on that she truly cares and wants to talk to me and hear about my issues, but also just cares about how my life is in general . It’s like a kind friend with vast knowledge of how to make you feel well! I’ve been to several acupuncturists over the years and she is truly the best I’ve used !"
"I heard of Arch Acupuncture from a good friend. Having been suffering from degenerative disk disease and stenosis for years and having had 3 surgeries, my friend recommended I try Accupunture from Arch. I had settled for just dealing with constant back pain and now neck pain for over 10 years. My first session with Joanna I could tell how much she cared about my issues with genuinely sincere concern! From the first treatment, I felt improvement. On the third session, I inquired as to if she might be able to help with my neck/shoulder pain. That very night, I was completely neck/shoulder wise pain free!! That being said, no one can expect miracles to happen, but this is the closest I have been to being pain free in years! I just finished with my fourth session and I am now a true believer in Accupunture and most of all Joanne! Thank you so much for the help and relief you have provided for me! I highly recommend Arch Accupunture!! Ralph"
"I couldnt be more grateful for Joanna's care. With all the tools in her arsenal she approached my illness with knowledge and determination. I appreciated her clear answers to my questions about the process, and her willingness to be available throughout the weekend should I not improve. I couldnt believe that it was only a few hours when my head began to clear, I wasnt coughing, and felt my energy starting to return. I recommend her without hesitation."
