"After the floor was finished, we noticed swirl marks everywhere, from not using a finer grit sandpaper. My price somehow jumped from 2,200.00 to 3,800.00. Jorge said that the square foot price hadn't changed, but the house was bigger than expected. He never brought a tape measure to quote the job. My son measured for him, with a laser pointer. When they started, they had to borrow buckets, rags, a broom and dustpan etc.. Completely unprofessional. Now we noticed that they never taped any of the baseboards. We have tinted urethane on all of them, and they'll need to be replaced, in the entire house! I knew when he spoke, and never made eye contact, that I should have found a different company!... These people are terrible!"

"We had a bleach spill stain our floor, and it would have been an easy fix, but the state was paying for the damage (so the payment was delayed for weeks on end) and then our landlord had a fit (telling him how to do his job and not do his job). Long story short, George was incredibly patient and fair. He clearly knows how to do his job well, and he is very knowledgeable about wood types and products. he wouldn't let us buy him a case of beer for all the trouble our landlord and the delays put him through, but maybe this review will bring him some business! An incredibly nice guy to work with and very responsive on Yelp, by email, and text message as well. If you are looking to get your floors repaired or refinished, and are anywhere within reach in VT or MA, PLEASE do your business with George (owner). I cannot recommend him enough, seriously. You won't find better quality, service, or prices than Dias Hardwood Floors."

I had one small area that I was concerned about but the Dias team came back and worked hard to restore this area better than I thought was possible! "I have a large oak floor in my living/dining room, ~500 square feet I called all the floor refinishers listed in my area, i live in Orange. left several messages, talked to one secretary who promised a call back. Jorge called within the hour and they both came over to quote the job in two hours. the price was very low as i found out later. I accepted their quote and agreed upon a date and time to start. the floor had been installed almost 40 years ago and was in rough shape, traffic patterns worn through, the front door area worn down to the bare wood. water damage from watering the plants. in short, i and my wife are very pleased, they did a great job and went out of their way to refinish some oak window sills at the same time, helped move some big furniture pieces, just very professional and helpful. I have now booked them for ripping out the slate floor in the back of the house and replacing the subfloor and laying a new tile floor. the price was an unbelievable $4000 less than the only other bid I could get, and that was for subfloor and labor only. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ****UPDATE 10/8/16: I had given them a deposit for my tile floor replacement scheduled on my two week vacation, returned and nothing was done. They left the deposit check on my counter. Talked with Philip and he explained that personal problems with a worker had interfered. Made several appointments to look at floor with new worker, no show, nocall on all. Have not heard from him since. Too bad...."

"Dias Brothers were awesome. I and my wife never thought the process will move so smooth. All because of Jorge and Philip. They are nice persons, very friendly, punctual & sincere at work. They go beyond what was agreed on the contract and give some good suggestions. I just replaced my living room with hardwood flooring and full 1st floor sanding & recoat. They also helped us with some other minor works including some painting. I don't have any more words to appreciate & thanks them. I am definitely going to recommend to my friends & no doubt i am going to call them for any of my future work. Their rates were attractive."
