"I am a new customer, and after some advice from an associate of mine and reviews online from cobblers and owners decided to order a pair. I ordered online, but I made a big mistake as the shoe sizing differs from what I have been using with other brands. So, after receiving the Allen Edmonds Randolph penny loafers, I drove to the Natick store. The store manager was very professional, took the time to use the Brannock device, discussed my correct shoe size with AE, and exchanged my shoes for a larger size. I received excellent customer service, and I was happy with my purchase. Allen Edmonds is a quality shoe manufacturer that stands by its products. They also value military veterans and is appreciated."

"By far the worse in store customer service out of all Allen Edmonds stores. Since the acquisition of the brand by Celeres (Famous Footwear) it feels like the brand not only has been taking a dive in terms of quality of their products (including quality control) but their customer service is now truly horrible, both online and especially in the Natick store. I made a web purchase and after calling customer support I was told the fastest way for them to process replacement (again.. a quality control defect in one of the shoes which was smaller than the size they had on the box) was to either go to a store or send back via UPS. Since I was going to the mall anyway I opted for the store visit. Upon explaining the situation, rather than simply taking the defective pair and just processing a replacement to be sent, the store manager explained that they will have to charge me for a new pair of shoes and process the refund of the web order (I assume so he could get credit for the sale of the pair he was going to send me as a replacement). The store manager only cares about his store.. and has no care about customer experience or support."
