"My husband and I recently were looking for the perfect suit, exploring several stores in the process. When exploring Prudential Mall, we decided to visit Hive & Colony. Unfortunately, our experience was underwhelming. Upon entering, we received no greeting or acknowledgment from the store associate, which was disheartening. As we browsed and had questions, the responses we received were minimal, often limited to a single word, and conveyed a sense of disinterest. For us, shopping for high-quality clothing is not just about the product but also about the experience and service. We believe that spending a considerable amount on quality attire warrants a level of customer service that makes us feel valued and special. Regrettably, this was not the case at Hive & Colony. The lack of engagement and enthusiasm from the staff significantly impacted our decision-making. It’s a pity because we were genuinely impressed with the quality and style of the suits available. They seemed perfect, but the lackluster service left us feeling undervalued as customers. Consequently, we’ve decided to take our business to another store where customer service is given the importance it deserves. Good customer service is crucial in retail, and it’s disappointing that Hive & Colony fell short in this regard."

However, our recent visits have markedly contrasted with our initial experience. Last week, we encountered a new associate, a man who seemed disinterested and unhelpful. We chalked it up to a bad day, but our return this week only worsened our opinion. This time, the same associate was not just unhelpful but blatantly rude and obnoxious. "Last week I had my first ever wedding. I was ill prepared, and needed a last minute outfit change… I ran into Hive and Colony in hopes of getting some advice on how to solve my problem. With less than 30 minutes until the service, Philip helped pick out a tie that matched perfectly with the wedding party. Realizing I was not only late, but also new to the “formal” attire, Phillip graciously gave me a huge discount and sent me on my way!
