Gold Star Tattoo

"With much trepidation I decided to get my first tattoo. I called Gold Star and spoke to Justin. He encouraged me to come in to make sure that the signature I wanted would work as a tattoo. I came by on a Saturday and met Justin, he was professional and thoughtful, and so I booked an appointment with him for the following Wednesday. My tattoo was very small and significant only to me, but Justin made me feel like it was the most important work he would be doing that day. He was wonderful and made me feel completely at ease. I had no idea that getting a tattoo would be such a wonderful experience. ~ JoAnn"

"Heard a lot of great things about the shop and was excited to schedule a session with Bellows. I had called the store and was greeted with the most unfriendly tone, they didn’t seem to want my business. I ended up just hanging up and pretending it was a service issue on my phone because I was so disappointed with the attitude of the guy. Spoke to some female friends and have heard that they were given the same treatment, seems that it’s a bro-friendly place but girls have been made to feel like we’re wasting their time. Super upsetting."
