"This place is stellar! I brought in a coat with a badly broken zipper the day before Thanksgiving to see if it could be fixed. Mr Hamdi was upfront and told me it was beyond repair but he quickly put a zipper stop on it so I could get at least get some use out of it as a back up coat. I was grateful! When u asked what I owed him, he said "nothing" reasoning that it only took a few seconds to put the zipper stop on. When I physically tried to give him money, he kindly pushed my hand away! In a world where integrity and honor are dying virtues, Mr Hamdi hads them a hundred times over! He should be everyone's go-to tailor!"

"This is my first ever and probably only ever internet review. But I wanted to share my gratitude to Mr. Hamdi for his amazing work! I am a small person and I am well aware of the risk involved in buying things online and hoping they will fit me. 9 times out of 10, they don't fit, no matter what the size charts say. But for my wedding, there was a specific kind of shirt I wanted. The closest I could find was only available on one website. The size chart specified that the shirt would only be a little bit off from my size. I knew I had to get it tailored if the sizes on the chart were correct, but I did not expect that when the shirt arrived, it was WAY bigger than the size chart specified. I brought the shirt to Mr. Hamdi's shop anyway. I knew there was a 50/50 chance that this would be too much of a fix and I would be turned away. I also had just 9 days until my wedding, so I also knew that the time constraint would be a valid reason to not take the job. But after talking with Mr. Hamdi, he graciously decided to work on my shirt for me. He was up front with me about the fact that he would need to re-cut and sew much of the shirt and would require two fittings. He was also honest that the cost would be higher than a regular adjustment. Not only did Mr. Hamdi come through amazingly, he completed this entire re-do in about a week! I told him that even if the shirt ended up a little too big, as long as it fit me ok, even if a little baggy, I would be happy. The end result was better than expected. The shirt fits me like a glove. Incredible! In addition to the exceptional work, his price was absolutely fair! He also let me pick the shirt up a bit after they closed, since don't get out of work until after they close. I cannot thank you enough Mr. Hamdi! This is a talented and honest tailor! I'm excited to know I am in good hands with all of my items that don't fit my non-conventional sized body from now on. But next time, I won't be asking to basically make me a new shirt from scratch!
