Stop & Shop Florist

"This was definitely a bad experience for me. When you're planning a wedding and you're on a tight budget, the LAST thing a bride wants to stress about is being able to afford her flowers and having to redo her order multiple times because their planning system is NOT organized enough. I first made my order with Stop and Shop in January of 2018, they told me based on my order, a safe budget would be about $300, maybe a little more. They said they would call me back with a full price quote. After I didn't hear from them for TWO months, I called in March. They had pretty much lost my order due to switching management, so I had to redo my order over the phone. Once again, they said they would call in about a week with a full price quote. I called them again in MAY and they said to wait until after Mother's Day because flowers are in "high demand." Oh...and I had to redo my order again....I forgot the reason for that time. The next week I called AGAIN and, guess what? I had to redo my order AGAIN because whoever wrote it failed to make it legible to everyone else! The worker took it all down and called me later that day to tell me my total came to $470!! I was done, this is NOT what I wanted to be stressing about TWO weeks from my wedding!! I ended up finding a smaller florist, Elaine's Flowers, in N Smithfield, and I couldn't be happier with my new florist. I canceled my order with Stop and Shop as soon as I finalized this last minute decision. Oh, by the way...I called to cancel and THEY COULDN'T EVEN FIND MY ORDER TO CANCEL IT!!! I don't understand how they messed up my order so much, but Stop and Shop Florist will only be used by me for spontaneous bouquets now. NO bride should have to stress this much about her flower orders."
